“Redhawk’s Damoura”

Sire:  “San Amour” (”Sandro Hit” x “Plaisir d’Amour”)

Damsire: ”Dark Florestina” (”Florestan I” x “Donnerhall”).

Purchased by Red Hawk Ranch at the Sud Deutsch Foal Auction the Summer of 2008, “Damoura” was the undisputed catch of the day. 

Now growing up on the grass in the Mecklenberg area of Germany (Northeastern Germany), when Damoura arrived at our friend Maik Ristedt’s family farm he immediately called Lynn to tell her she would be having a fight to keep the ride on this horse.  “Lynn,” said Maik, “For sure, this is a horse for the World Cup someday.”

In this photo, she has lost her summer sweater (what Germans call sommerfell) and is starting to show her black-brown colouring.
