Mare and Foal Inspection August 10 at Red Hawk Ranch
Red Hawk Ranch will again host inspectors from the acclaimed German Oldenberg Verband on Friday, August 10, for the Ranch’s 4th annual Mare and Foal Inspection.
“California breeders are creating high quality foals. Our collective mission should be to provide top young horses to American buyers so that they don’t think they have to buy airfare to Holland or Germany to get their next competition horse,” declares Bob DeGour, head of Red Hawk Ranch’s breeding program. “This is one more opportunity for us to educate and excite American horsepeople about the quality of sport horse breeding in Southern California.”
Breeders will be coming in from Riverside and San Diego Counties to present their mares and foals. Bob and his wife, Lynn, will present three mares and four foals to the Oldenberg Verband in the California inspection and one in Germany:
